Kayaking in Dubai is one of those activities that genuinely surprises people with how enjoyable it is. Away from the noise and pace of the city, paddling through Dubai’s calm waterways gives you a completely different perspective on this extraordinary place.
Whether you are gliding through the peaceful mangrove forests, exploring the serene creeks, or paddling along the marina with the skyline reflected in the water beside you, kayaking offers a refreshing and peaceful escape that is hard to find anywhere else in the city. It is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced paddlers alike, with certified instructors providing safety guidance before every session.
Available as a single or double kayak, it works perfectly for solo adventurers looking for some quiet time on the water, couples wanting a relaxed activity together, or small groups who want something a little different from the usual Dubai attractions.
Make your way to the kayaking departure point. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and the mandatory safety briefing before your session begins. Bring your original passport or Emirates ID for verification.
Your certified instructor will go through safety guidelines, paddling techniques, and the designated kayaking route before you get on the water. This briefing is mandatory for all participants regardless of experience.
Launch your kayak and spend the next hour paddling at your own pace through the designated waterway. Take in the views, enjoy the calm, and keep an eye out for local birds and marine life along the way.
Paddle back to the starting point at the end of your session, return your equipment, and head off feeling refreshed.
No experience is needed at all. Your certified instructor will walk you through everything you need to know before you get on the water. The sessions are designed to be accessible for complete beginners.
Participants must be at least 13 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the session.
Yes, all participants must be able to swim or tread water independently for safety reasons. Life jackets are provided but a basic ability to stay afloat in water is required.
